Bhubaneswar, June 23 -- The Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday carried out simultaneous raids at seven locations linked to Padmalochan Nayak, Executive Engineer of CADA, Sambalpur Division.

The searches were conducted over allegations of his possession of disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.

According to Vigilance officials, the raids were carried out on the basis of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur. The operation was led by four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 13 Inspectors, seven Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting staff.
