India, July 21 -- In a fresh crackdown on corruption in Odisha's revenue administration, Vigilance officials have apprehended a woman Revenue Inspector in Sundargarh district for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000.

RI Held During Trap Operation As per reports, the accused, Anita Jena, who is posted as the Revenue Inspector of Kuanrmunda Kolsihiria, was caught red-handed during a trap laid by the Vigilance department. Officials said the action was initiated following a complaint that the officer had demanded money to carry out the demarcation of a parcel of land.
