Bhubaneswar, Sept. 20 -- OdishaVigilance on Saturday apprehended an ICDS supervisor and a Junior Revenue Assistant (JRA) for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from an Anganwadi worker in Ganjam district.

The accused have been identified as B. Uma Patro, ICDS Supervisor, and Narasingha Behera, JRA. They were both reportedly posted at the office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) in Hinjilicut.

According to Odisha Vigilance, the two accused allegedly demanded Rs 30,000 from an Anganwadi Worker for the release of house rent for an Anganwadi Centre for the last 11 months.
