Bhubaneswar, Nov. 1 -- Odisha Vigilance on Saturday arrested Sadasiba Pradhan, a former Senior Revenue Assistant (SRA) at the Sub-Collector's Office in Chhatrapur in Ganjam district. He has been accused of misappropriating government funds amounting to Rs 8.63 lakh.

Pradhan was earlier entrusted with managing the Nizarat Section of the Sub-Collector's Office, which included handling government funds and the Red Cross Fund. He is currently serving at the Tehsil Office in Surada, Ganjam.

According to reports, the alleged financial irregularities took place between December 2023 and August 2025. During this period, Pradhan issued official receipt books and collected Rs 8,63,200 towards the Red Cross Fund.
