Bhubaneswar, April 9 -- The Odisha Vigilance on Thursday arrested Rajesh Chandra Mohanty, Additional Chief Engineer (Dam Safety), Odisha, Bhubaneswar, in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case. He will be produced before the Court of the Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack later in the day.

According to official sources, the arrest followed extensive searches conducted at multiple properties linked to Mohanty. During the raids, Vigilance officials allegedly unearthed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The seized assets reportedly include a palatial multi-storeyed building in Bhubaneswar, a farmhouse with a double-storeyed structure spread over approximately 4,000 square feet on land measuring around 1.71 ...
