Odisha unveils incentives for Odia cuisine restaurants; 8 eligibility rules set
Bhubaneswar, June 17 -- To promote traditional Odia food across the country, the Odisha government has issued detailed guidelines for restaurants seeking incentives under the Odisha Tourism (Amendment) Policy, 2026.
The Tourism Department has laid down eight key conditions that restaurants must meet to qualify for financial support. These include having clear land ownership or a valid lease agreement, a minimum seating capacity of 25 guests, a hygienic and fully functional kitchen, and at least Rs 20 lakh investment excluding land and building costs.
