Bhubaneswar, July 2 -- The draft electoral roll for Odisha is scheduled to be published on July 5, following a comprehensive review of preparatory arrangements by state election authorities. In anticipation of the publication, an all-party meeting was convened on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Odisha Chief Electoral Officer, R. S. Gopalan.

As per reports, during the consultative meeting, officials reviewed the progress regarding the distribution and collection of forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme. The panel also assessed the current status of data digitisation alongside logistical preparations essential for the upcoming draft roll publication.
