Odisha to get Kavach safety system across 631 route km under Rs 270 Crore rail project
Bhubaneswar, June 29 -- Indian Railways has cleared a Rs 270 Crore project to deploy the Kavach train collision avoidance system across 631 route kilometres in the East Coast Railway (ECoR) zone, strengthening rail safety across key corridors in Odisha and nearby regions.

These routes handle both passenger and freight traffic and connect major industrial, mining and commercial zones across Odisha and adjoining states.
