Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- The Odisha government has launched the construction of a massive guesthouse in Bhubaneswar aimed at providing affordable accommodation to people visiting the capital from different parts of the state.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday laid the foundation stone for the project, named Janashraya, which will come up on nearly three acres of land in the Unit-II area of the city.

According to a report by Sambad, the proposed 20-storey facility will have 768 rooms and around 2,000 beds, making it one of the largest public accommodation facilities in the state.
