Bhubaneswar, July 2 -- A 20 kilometre grand farewell procession was organised by villagers, former students and the school community in Bonai in Odisha's Sundargarh district for four retiring teachers in Gogua village.

After dedicating several years to the school, the four teachers were given a unique and heartfelt farewell with drum beats, flower-decorated vehicles and a ceremonial procession through several villages. Local residents, alumni and members of the school family participated in the farewell.
