Bhubaneswar, Oct. 1 -- A final decision has not yet been taken on holding student union elections in Odisha, Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj said on Thursday. He clarified that the matter has not been finalised at the government level.

Department Remains Positive About Holding Elections

The Minister said the Higher Education Department has always remained in favour of student union elections and continues to maintain a positive stance on the issue. However, he stressed that no final decision has been reached so far.
