Bhubaneswar, Oct. 16 -- Tension prevailed at Harekrushna Mahatab Degree College in Kupari of Balasore district in odisha after students allegedly vandalised the campus while opposing a selection process scheduled for Friday. The students demanded the complete cancellation of the process, leading to unrest on the college premises.

Following the incident, Khaira Tehsildar and the Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) reached the campus and tried to pacify the agitating students.

The students opposed the selection process and resorted to vandalism on the campus. They insisted that the entire process be cancelled, leading to tension within the college premises.
