Odisha set to become major export hub for chemicals, essential oils as DGFT, CHEMEXCIL sign MoU
Bhubaneswar, July 12 -- Odisha is set to strengthen its position as a key export hub for chemicals, petrochemicals, perfumes and essential oils following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and the Basic Chemicals, Cosmetics & Dyes Export Promotion Council (CHEMEXCIL).
The announcement was made during a workshop organised by the Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd. (UCCIL), aimed at promoting export opportunities for entrepreneurs in the state.
The MoU is expected to enhance market access for Odisha-based exporters, facilitate trade promotion, and help local enterprises establish a stronger presence in international markets.
