Bhubaneswar, April 21 -- In a significant push towards industrial development in Odisha, two major steel plants are set to be established in Dhenkanal and Keonjhar districts. Agreements have been signed with leading steel companies JSW and POSCO for the projects.
Providing details, Industries Department Additional Chief Secretary Hemanta Sharma stated that the state currently has two steel plant projects in hand. A five million tonne capacity steel plant will be set up in Keonjhar, while another six million tonne capacity plant will be established in Dhenkanal.
