Bhubaneswar, June 12 -- Fresh details have emerged in the case involving Mahakalapada Sarpanch Chameli Ojha, who was detained by police following a disturbance at the Mahakalapada Block Office in Odisha's Kendrapara district. Police have accused the sarpanch of assaulting personnel, abusing officials and disrupting government work during a meeting held on Thursday.

According to the allegations, Chameli Ojha entered the block office while an official meeting was underway and got into a heated argument with the Block Development Officer (BDO). Officials alleged that she used abusive language and created a disturbance inside the office premises.
