Bhubaneswar, April 11 -- The Odishagovernment has launched the Atal Bus Stand (ABS) Scheme, a major initiative aimed at transforming public transport infrastructure across the state through systematic development and modernisation of bus terminals. The scheme seeks to establish bus stands at multiple levels, including district headquarters, sub-divisional headquarters, block headquarters, urban local bodies (ULBs), and key tourist locations, with the objective of improving connectivity and passenger convenience.
