Bhubaneswar, July 8 -- A series of major road infrastructure projects are underway to ease traffic congestion and enhance pedestrian safety on the busy stretch between Rasulgarh and Palasuni Chhak in Odisha's Bhubaneswar. Key initiatives include a Rs 23 crore project to widen the Palasuni bridge into six lanes and the construction of a 450-metre-long skywalk, which will be the first of its kind in Odisha.

The Rasulgarh to Palasuni Chhak route suffers from heavy traffic congestion and sits within a densely populated zone that has historically been prone to accidents.
