Bhubaneswar, March 5 -- Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari was referred to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, for advanced treatment on Thursday. He was referred there after undergoing medical care at AIIMS Bhubaneswar for a heart-related ailment.

According to information, the minister was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar after experiencing chest pain. Following treatment for a few days, doctors advised that he seek further medical care at AIIMS Delhi, where advanced facilities are available.

Sources said the decision to refer the minister to Delhi was taken based on medical advice to ensure specialised treatment and further evaluation.
