Bhubaneswar, Sept. 11 -- A low-pressure area over the north Bay of Bengal has triggered another spell of rain in Odisha. Several districts are expected to receive heavy rainfall. The weather system has led to an orange warning for three districts, while a yellow warning has been issued for the remaining 21 districts.

For Friday, an orange warning has been issued for Kalahandi, Nabarangpur and Koraput. In view of the possibility of heavy rainfall, educational institutions in Kalahandi will remain closed today.

Heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Kandhamal, Ganjam, Rayagada, Gajapati, Bolangir, Nuapada and Malkangiri for today.
