India, Aug. 24 -- Odisha is likely to see more rain for another week as a low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas continues to affect the state. Several districts have been placed under red and orange warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall.

Rain has continued across the state under the influence of the system. A red Warning has been issued for Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi and Nabarangpur, where heavy to very heavy rain is expected.

Orange Warning For Several Districts An Orange Warning has been issued for coastal and northern Odisha, along with Sambalpur, Deogarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Rayagada.
