Bhubaneswar, June 29 -- The hearing on the bail petitions of 14 accused, including Shankar Prusty, in the alleged Odisha Police Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment scam has been deferred.

The matter, which was scheduled to be heard earlier, has now been postponed, with the court fixing July 3 as the next date for hearing the bail applications of all the accused.

The case pertains to the alleged irregularities in the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in the Odisha Police. Further developments in the case are expected after the court takes up the bail pleas on July 3.
