Bhubaneswar, May 2 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday issued Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs) against eight middlemen involved in the Odisha Police Sub-Inspector (SI) exam scam. Despite repeated notices, the accused failed to appear before the authorities. The middlemen are suspected to facilitating unfair practices during the recruitment process.
The investigation has revealed that three of the suspects are based in Bihar, underlining the cross-border nature of the operation.
