Bhubaneswar, Aug. 30 -- A serving Sub-Inspector of Bhadrak Town Police Station was arrested on Sunday following a complaint by his wife alleging prolonged physical and mental harassment. The accused officer has been identified as Gananath Sethi, who is currently working with Bhadrak Police.

Town Police arrested Sethi based on the complaint filed by his wife. The allegations stated that she was subjected to physical and mental harassment by him for a long period.

According to reports, repeated efforts were made to resolve the issue between the couple, but the matter could not be settled. Sethi was allegedly continuing to subject his wife to harassment despite these attempts.
