Bhubaneswar, May 24 -- OdishaPolice organised the 75th edition of its "Sundays on Cycle" campaign in Rourkela on Sunday. Senior officers and personnel participated in a cycling event aimed at promoting physical fitness and encouraging healthier lifestyles.

The programme, themed "Ride Today for a Healthier Tomorrow", saw participants cycle from the Rourkela SP Office to the Reserve Police Ground as part of the state-wide initiative.

Western Range DIG Brijesh Rai and Rourkela Superintendent of Police Nitesh Wadhwani joined the event along with police personnel from different ranks.

Addressing participants, DIG Rai said the campaign was intended to encourage healthy living and popularise cycling as a regular fitness activity.
