Bhubaneswar, June 11 -- An Odisha Police constable was arrested by Commissionerate Police for allegedly attempting to rape and misbehaving with a woman sanitation worker near the office of the Reserve Inspector of Cuttack Rural Police on Wednesday.

According to the complaint, the woman was engaged in sanitation work in the area when the accused constable allegedly approached her and attempted to sexually assault her. The woman resisted the alleged attack and raised an alarm, drawing the attention of others present nearby.
