Bhubaneswar, May 18 -- In a major crackdown, Daspalla police and the district mining dept on Monday arrested four employees and seized one Hyva vehicle following a raid on an illegal stone mine named Shri Durga Convent, located in Gunthapayu under Daspalla police limits in Odisha's Nayagarh district.

The site had reportedly been operating stone blasting and crusher activities illegally for several years. The joint operation came after officials received credible information about ongoing violations.
