Bhubaneswar, April 15 -- The Odisha government is planning to introduce a slot booking system for darshan at the revered Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, aimed at streamlining the flow of devotees and enhancing convenience.

Informing about the development, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan on Wednesday said that the new system will be rolled out shortly. He stated that both the existing queue-based darshan system and the proposed slot booking system will continue simultaneously.

"Plans are being made to ensure that both line darshan and slot booking darshan continue," the minister said.
