Bhubaneswar, Aug. 15 -- OdishaChief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced changes to the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) examination rules on India's 80th Independence Day.

The maximum limit of six attempts was removed in the announcement today.

As per reports, this will allow candidates to appear for the examination until they reach the upper age limit. The upper age limit for government jobs was also increased to 42 years.

The government also relaxed restrictions on compassionate appointments.
