Bhubaneswar, June 13 -- Odishagovernment issued a Special Order to facilitate the registration of apartment units in real estate projects completed before the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) took effect on October 5, 2016.

Issued by order of the Governor and notified by Additional Chief Secretary Usha Padhee, the directive clears long-standing paperwork delays for homebuyers, promoters, and landowners. While a previous order on December 3, 2025 aided individual allottees, units held by promoters and landowners remained stuck.
