Bhubaneswar, June 23 -- Tragedy struck a family in Odisha's Gajapati district after a migrant worker allegedly died after falling from a rooftop while working in Goa, sources said on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Dalabehera, a resident of Kandalasahi village under Badasindhaba panchayat in Mohana block.

According to family members, Ganesh had travelled to Goa around three months ago in search of work to support his family. He reportedly fell from the roof of a building on Monday night and succumbed to his injuries. News of his death plunged the village into mourning.

Ganesh is survived by his wife, their one-year-old daughter, and his elderly parents. He was the family's sole earning member, leaving his dependents...
