Odisha medicos wear black badges on National Doctors' Day as OMSA protest continues
Bhubaneswar, July 1 -- Junior doctors at the SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) in Cuttack are wearing black badges while performing their duties on Wednesday in support of the Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA).
The symbolic protest, timed with National Doctors' Day, comes as OMSA spearheads a statewide agitation over a 10-point charter of demands. The asscociation has also warned of intensified stir if the state government fails to take immediate action.
