Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- Fresh questions have surfaced in the death case of medical student Chandrika Hembram as allegations regarding her missing diary and laptop have added a new dimension to the investigation.

Chandrika's cousin, Rashmita, has claimed that a pocket diary recovered from the deceased's bag was seized by police after her death.

According to her, the diary contained the words "Die Die Die," a specific date, a poem, and Chandrika's nickname, 'Nupur.' The diary was reportedly shown to family members by police after the bag was seized on the day of the incident.
