Bhubaneswar, April 30 -- A Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) level inquiry began, on Thursday, into the shocking incident of a man in Odisha's Keonjhar district exhuming and carrying skeleton of his sister to bank to prove her death.

Northern Division RDC Sangram Keshari Mohapatra visited the residence of the man, Jitu Munda, in Turumunga and began the investigation. The inquiry is being conducted in coordination with district officials, including Keonjhar Collector Vishal Singh, Additional Collector Rabindra Pradhan, and Sub-Collector Umashankar Dalai. The RDC is also set to examine the circumstances at the Patna Odisha Gramin Bank.
