Bhubaneswar, Sept. 25 -- Train services on the Rayagada-Koraput railway route in Odisha were disrupted on Friday after rocks and soil slipped onto the track amid continuous rain in the area.

The landslide blocked the railway line, affecting the movement of trains on the route. An Intercity train was stopped at Sikarpai station, while the Hirakhand Express was halted at Keutguda station following the obstruction.

Railway staff reached the affected stretch after the incident and began clearing the rocks and soil from the track. Efforts are underway to remove the debris and restore the line for train movement.
