Odisha issues notices to 16 nursing colleges over BSc exam delay
Bhubaneswar, July 11 -- Following severe delays in conducting the BSc Nursing semester examinations for the 2021-22 batch in Balasore, the administration finally stepped in. The Odisha Nurses and Midwives Registration Council issued show-cause notices on Friday to 16 nursing colleges affiliated with Fakir Mohan University.
As per reports, the council reportedly ordered them to submit an explanatory report within two days.
The intervention comes amid escalating tension as affected students continued a sit-in protest on the university campus since Friday. The regular four-year degree course already reportedly stretched into its sixth year because the authorities failed to conduct the seventh and eighth-semester examinations.
