Odisha govt signs 3 MoUs to boost farmer income, digital agriculture & climate resilience
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 29 -- Odisha government signed MoUs with the Department of Posts (Odisha Circle), International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) and M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) on Friday to help raise farmers' incomes and improve agriculture.
Deputy chief minister KV Singh Deo said the agreements will strengthen digital agriculture, seed systems, climate resilience, nutrition and farmer livelihoods. He said the partnerships will decentralise seed delivery, empower small growers and help fight malnutrition at the grassroots level.
