Bhubaneswar, June 20 -- The Odisha government has issued a joint Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to bring greater transparency and uniformity to apartment registrations across the state.

The SOP, released by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department along with the Housing and Urban Development Department on Friday, seeks to remove ambiguities arising from different interpretations of the Odisha Apartment (Ownership and Management) Act, 2023, the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), and the Registration Act, 1908.
