Odisha govt approves additional Rs 100.83 crore for ABADHA project
India, Oct. 9 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved an additional Rs 100.83 crore for development projects in Puri under the ABADHA (Augmentation of Basic Amenities and Development of Heritage and Architecture) scheme.
With the additional allocation, the total cost of the projects has now increased from Rs 557.19 crore to Rs 658.03 crore. The extra funds will support the expansion of key infrastructure projects aimed at improving facilities for pilgrims and visitors to the holy city.
Funds To Boost Jagannath Ballav Pilgrim Centre
According to reports, a major portion of the additional funding will go towards the expansion of Jagannath Ballav Pilgrim Centre (JBPC) and its associated facilities.
