Odisha govt appoints new OPSC Secretary amid examination malpractice controversy
Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- Amid ongoing discussions and concerns over the alleged copying and examination malpractice controversy in the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) examinations, the Odisha government on Tuesday effected key administrative changes in the commission.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, OAS officer Satyabrata Ray has been appointed as the new Secretary of the OPSC. The appointment comes at a time when the commission has been under scrutiny following allegations related to irregularities in its examination process.
