Bhubaneswar, Sept. 7 -- The Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Department has directed all district collectors to replace old English spellings of place names on government signboards within a week.

Additional Chief Secretary of the department, Dr Aravind Padhee, has written to all collectors asking them to ensure the use of revised spellings at government offices, institutions and other official establishments across their districts.
