Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- Odisha is set to receive a major boost for rural employment and village infrastructure after the Centre announced a massive financial package exceeding Rs 1.25 lakh crore under its upcoming rural development framework, "Viksit Bharat GRAMG." As part of the interim allocation released ahead of the July 1 rollout, Odisha has been sanctioned Rs 3,763.80 crore, positioning the state among the key beneficiaries of the Centre's ambitious push to strengthen rural livelihoods, create assets and ensure uninterrupted employment opportunities in villages.
