Odisha Fire Services on high alert as low-pressure system triggers incessant rainfall
Bhubaneswar, July 3 -- The Odisha Fire and Emergency Services Department is on high alert due to the continuous rainfall triggered by the low-pressure system.
Sudhanshu Sarangi, Director General of the Fire and Emergency Services, said that all Fire Stations across Odisha were directed to remain on 24-hour alert to respond to any emergency.
Special rescue teams have been deployed in Cuttack, Berhampur and Sambalpur, while arrangements have been made to provide timely assistance in coordination with the administration during any emergency situation.
