Bhubaneswar, Oct. 9 -- Officials of the Odisha Excise Department seized 110 grams of brown sugar worth around Rs 11 lakh and arrested a suspected drug dealer in Cuttack's Jagatpur area on Friday.

The accused has been identified as Abhimanyu Nayak. He is reportedly a resident of the Nuapada area of Cuttack. He was standing at Jagatpur Golei Chhak when excise officials got suspicious of his activities and detained him.

After that, they conducted a search which led to the seizure of 110 grams of brown sugar from his possession.

The accused was subsequently forwarded to court.
