Bhubaneswar, June 8 -- In a breakthrough against cybercrime, the Bhadrak Cyber Police on Monday arrested three members of a cyber fraud racket accused of cheating people of more than Rs 6 crore across several states. The arrests followed an intensive investigation conducted over the past few days by the cyber police unit.

The accused have been identified as Inayat Qadri, Shahbaz Qadri, and Mohammad Farhan Khan, all residents of Puruna Bazaar police station area in Bhadrak district. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, police detained the trio and launched a detailed probe, which reportedly revealed their involvement in multiple cyber fraud cases.
