Bhubaneswar, Aug. 26 -- OdishaCrime Branch intensified its search for former Sarankul police station IIC Sujit Kumar Das, who is reportedly absconding in connection with a rape case. Multiple teams have been deployed to trace his whereabouts and arrest him.

Crime Branch conducted raids at several locations as part of its efforts to apprehend the former Nayagarh Saranakul IIC. Despite the intensified searches, Das reportedly remained untraced.

According to reports, Crime Branch teams carried out searches at various places in connection with the case.
