Bhubaneswar, April 15 -- In a significant judgment, the Bhubaneswar sub-divisional judicial magistrate (SDJM) court on Wednesday convicted seven individuals in a case involving the sharing of sensitive information with a suspected Pakistani agent through OTP-based fraud.

The court sentenced all seven convicts to three years of imprisonment after examining substantial evidence in the case.

"Based on the evidence, SDJM Court sentenced the accused persons to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) for three years and to pay a fine of Rs 32,000 each and in default of payment of the fine, RI for three months more," a press note mentioned.
