Bhubaneswar, March 13 -- Eight Congress MLAs from Odisha travelled to Bengaluru a day after the party issued a whip directing its legislators not to leave Bhubaneswar ahead of the Rajya Sabha elections, triggering discussions within political circles.
The development has drawn attention as the whip had instructed all Congress MLAs to remain in the capital from March 13 to March 16 in connection with the Rajya Sabha polls.
The whip was issued by Congress chief Raazen Ekka, who reportedly also travelled to Bengaluru along with the MLAs.
