Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- OdishaChief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday criticised the opposition during the Assembly debate on the Nari Shakti Vandan Act. He alleged that the BJD had engaged in vote bank politics for 24 years and was now part of a conspiracy to deprive women of their rights.
Speaking during the discussion in the House, the Chief Minister said the opposition's actions were aimed at undermining women's empowerment and asserted that such efforts would not be accepted.
