Bhubaneswar, April 14 -- In a major push towards strengthening school infrastructure, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday announced a Rs 20 crore development package for Jhumpura High School in Keonjhar district during its Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Tuesday.

The proposed upgrade includes construction of a 500-seater auditorium, a multi-storey academic building, indoor sports facilities, a boundary wall, and a dedicated bicycle stand, among other essential amenities. The Chief Minister said the initiative aims to transform the institution into one of the premier schools in Odisha.
