Bhubaneswar, May 20 -- The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha on Wednesday declared the results of the annual Plus Two examinations for all streams, with the overall pass percentage rising to 85.85 per cent this year.

The results were officially announced by Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond. Compared to last year's overall pass percentage of 83.45 per cent, the state recorded an improvement of 2.4 percentage points this year.

A total of 3,41,781 students successfully cleared the examination across Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams. Girls outperformed boys in all streams this year, continuing the trend of better performance in higher secondary examinations.
